    This is gonna be long, sorry... I'm very, very, very disappointed in this location. For reference, we have been patience of this location for 30 years before the owner and Dr. in residence, with whom we were also friends with, sold it to retire. We knew that some of his staff would stay, the one we liked the most at the optical shop moved to his other location in McKinney, which is closer to where we live now, so this last time when I had to see my new eye doc we went over there. There has been an ongoing problem with my glasses since I purchased it back in January. The rubber nose pieces keep falling off, especially when I would clean my glasses. They were under warranty for one year after purchase, so if it breaks, malfunctions, gets stepped/sat on etc. they will replace with something similar within the first year. We were in Plano, we now live in the next town over... so I thought I'd go to the Plano office to see what they could do about these nose pieces. A friendly receptionist initially greeted us and we were told to wait in the optical shop. The staff member who helped us told us that we should go back to the other location in MicKinney. I was like, "Um, aren't you all owned by the same company?" And the gentleman who was helping us proceeded to tell us no. They are all franchised. But, doesn'e MyEyeDr own them all? I was shocked since both this location and McKinney were owned by our previous doctor. When I said this, the employee went on to say, he didn't know anything about that and that there was nothing he could do for me. My husband, who is big and intimidating, stated to give us a refund then and get me some new glasses since they were under warranty and the one's I purchased were faulty. The guy proceeded to tell us there is only a 30 day return policy for satisfaction and again to go back to the other location. Aren't the nose pieces falling off an issue with the product!? He then said that they didn't sell any glasses there that had these kinds of nose pieces. He made me feel like he didn't believe that we even got our glasses at a MyEyeDr facility. It was very disconcerting. I was thinking... WOW, what happened to customer service, we'd been going to that Dr. and that location for 30 years even after moving we continued until it was sold to MyEyeDr! The one thing he did do was go to the back and return with, EUREKA, a set of my exact style nose piece! Hmm, didn't he say they didn't sell my style of glasses with this kind of nose piece?? How did those miraculously show up?? I believe he only did this after we made a fuss about it. Now granted, a few years ago I did have a pair of glasses with this same nose piece, however I'd forgotten and thought that maybe now they stayed on better, was I wrong. Very sad that the quality of service there has gone way down. Time to find a new eye doc and optical shop! :( I'll go back to Mckinney first to see if they can exchange my glasses, but I'm not holding my breath, OH and the kicker, this guy said that I would just have to wait till next year and to make sure I don't get the same kind of glasses with those nose pieces... What??... gee ya think? So what was the warranty worth that we paid for!? Not much according to this guy and neither was our patronage. Sheesh. If I could give zero stars I would!

    My wife & I purchased a pair of glasses each from this store. Spent upwards of $600. 45 days later both pairs were broken. Brought them back & they would not replace them without me purchasing a 1 year warranty for each!! #cheapproducts #dontstandbehindwhattheysell #greedymfers What a ripoff!! Find a clinic that stands behind what they sell!!

    EXCELLENT SERVICE EXCELLENT OPTOMETRIST!! I have always had a great experience with My Eye Dr but I had to come in on an emergency visit. They got me in the next day and Dr Bilal Ismail was able to help me feel better within hours. Great explanation of what was happening and an all over nice caring person. Thank you to EVERYONE in this office! I will be back for future visits
