Among lot of dinner dishes, mutton kari dosa lits and outstand from every other dishes. They chosen best boneless pieces for the dosa, i think that's why it stood differently and folded it even with the gravy which I poured inside, a faht-a-faht choice I made. Definitely give a try if you like non-veg curries ate aside with dosa.

If I could award this place ten stars, I would. My friends and I went to the weekend buffet, where they offer you a tray with vegetarian sides and then come around with all the other mains and sides for you to choose from. There are many vegetarian alternatives, as well as chicken and fish curry for meat eaters. The tray is coated with banana leaves, and while a spoon is provided, most Indians eat with their hands and save the spoon for dessert. The meal includes a complimentary bottle of water and a chilled yogurt drink. Everyone there were quite kind and courteous, and the restaurant was spotless. This is officially my favorite Indian restaurant in Austin and I highly recommend it... the drive is worth it!

Two outstanding meals at Kumar's Austin: Naatu Kozhi Varuval and Ambur Chicken Dum Biryani. The quickness with serving food impressed me, ensuring an un-awaited experience in dine in. The Naatu Kozhi Varuval, which had soft country chicken pieces cooked to perfection and served steamy, was a definite highlight, which is even more cooked and tender than the pieces in biriyani and went perfectly with the biryani. If there was one little flaw, it would be the Naatu Kozhi Varuval's portion size. While the flavor was excellent, I wished there had been a bit more. The Naatu Kozhi Varuval and Ambur Chicken Dum Biryani, as well as the quick and professional service, make this restaurant a better choice for hunger evenings and lunch times .

My favorite South Indian street food, Kothu Parotta, never ceases to wow me. The chopped parotta was properly fried with the mutton salna and egg, and the curd onion served as a spice consoling mate to the dish.I liked the way they served and also gave the mutton salna they used to make the kothu, for adding extra spiciness. Extremely delicious !!
