The service was awesome, and the place has potential but being a Vietnamese food lover this restaurant just didnt meet authentic standards..
The meat in both of our rice plates was sliced wayyy too thin it could have been paper. (Chicken and pork)Not only that, but it was over cooked and chewy. Ive never seen meat look so flat before. The Saigon wings appetizer was also over cooked and I hurt my tooth trying to chew it.
I dont get the hype, sure there was lots of garlic in all of the dishes so they smelled great but the flavor and texture just wasnt there for us. Try Pho Hoang in Round Rock!! There is a remarkable difference.
