If you're black, don't waste your time here. I'm not one to make things about race, but lying, being rude and trying to charge a $100 CASH deposit when I know you didn't do that to the white guy in front of me? What do I make of that?

I've been coming to this hotel for over a year now. Never had an issue until now. My bf booked a room through the OYO website and paid at the time of booking. He arrived to check in and was told that he owed 70 cents which he used his debit card to pay. When I arrived the phone started ringing immediately. Answered it and was told that bf needed to pay $15 cash for a second person being in the room. We told him we didn't have cash at the time. When we left to go to the store we stopped by the office to talk to them and it's a new guy I've never seen before. He said there was a $15 charge because the room was booked for one person only and that if he had booked it online for two people that it automatically put the $15 extra charge on there. So my boyfriend my BF went online and went through the whole booking process for two people and it was the same price as it was for one person. Also we were told to bring this money in cash. It could not be charged to the card. So when we got back from the store last night we went to the office and rang the bell a bunch of times and nobody answered. Then this morning about 10 minutes ago this guy calls and tells me that I need to come right now and pay this money. I got on the OYO website myself and went through the booking process for one person and two people and there was no difference in the price. Called from my cell phone to try to talk to the owner and he's out of town. There's nothing on the website for this hotel about a $15 additional fee for per person. This feels like a scam. I won't be renting here again.
