Motel 6 Odessa, TX - 2nd Street

I drove up to the hotel after a 12 hour commute hoping to just lay down and get some sleep, when two guys approached my car to ask me what I was doing there, while smoking weed in the parking lot. Then I checked into my room and found that the room was not even cleaned. Had stains and a cigarette burn on the blanket. The bathroom was still dirty with hair on the floor and stains on the sink. The floor had foot prints everywhere as well as on the back of the door. There were dirty hand prints all over the walls. Rust in the microwave. Not too happy with what I was left to sleep in. I went down stairs and they gave me the room right next to that one. It was a little cleaner, but still had stains on the blanket. It will have to do because I am just tired. Likely I am just passing through because this will be the last time I come here. This was a company account that paid for this room for me, so I cant be too mad. But I guess you get what you pay for. If I had to pay for this room I would have gone somewhere else. At least the front desk female was nice and accommodating.

The new paint and lights really help the Aesthetics of the exterior. The rooms were clean and fairly nice for what we paid. The only downside is being able to hear the train pass in the night. Other than that, above average for a Motel 6. Rooms: 2 bed room is spacey not too cramped. Shower is new, stylish, and bigger than usual. Decent sized closet, 32in tv, comes with mini fridge, and microwave.
