Updated 12/06/22 below. Existing client for over 4 years, haven't had many issues, HOWEVER we have been out of sevice three different times this past week. I have called the after hours number numerous times, without a courtesy return call, absolutely NO RESPONSE!!! We are quarantined and no WIFI. My boss called Larry, whom called your Oncall guy to reset our service, Thank you Larry for going above and beyond on your day off. Now the next day, again no service!!!! Still no call or response from any personnel. Do not have Mike call me, either. He is the most rude person I have dealt with and I still give you my money. I WILL find an alternative, until then credit my bill. You will be hearing from me also. Update.... 12/06/22 Called left message on 11/27/22 for weak service, no response on the following business day. The service seemed a bit better, with some lagging in the evening. I emailed them 12/5/22 with my concern and lagging. 12/06/22 at 1:30 pm I call again due to no response from email. Destiny explained that she never received a message from me and was adamant, however I have the date, time and elapse of time I was on the call recording message. I inquired about the email I sent, Destiny explained the 'Contact Us' on the website is not a responsive email address, gave me a different email to contact them. What....that's not all. I explained to her I used Their website 'check signal strength' and her reply ' that's not one she likes or uses' and gave me another website to check my signal strength. Why???? Have these Tools on your website that Are Not useful for customers. She eventually did some tweeking on her end and my signal strength improved greatly. Y'all do realize there's much better service, customer service, Wifi out here, now for less monies. I am the manager of this RV Park, and will be discussing this sad customer service experience with the owner. I will not recommend you to any of our future tenants.

I like to consider Net3 like a "last mile" internet provider, ie, if you cannot get any other provider in your area that offers Fiber, Cable, VDSL, or have very slow ADSL. For anyone living in a rural area within their coverage zone. I give this review three stars only because despite the great customer service provided, and great technicians; the old fixed wireless towers are outdated and beyond slow. ($175 a month total for 20 mbps download internet, really?!). Even by FTC standards (broadband certified internet) from 8 years ago, this provider cannot offer speeds that meet 25 megabits down, although does meet 5 megabits upload, (top plan). The internet packages themselves are extremely expensive for the speeds provided, such as the starting 70$ for 10mbps download. Although that's because the technology is over a decade old and needs an overhaul. Compared to satellite Net3 will in fact be far superior due to being terrestrial, which comes with far lower ping ratings and up to 20mbps internet speeds. Both Hughesnet and Viasat fail to offer speeds above the hundred-kilobits on average, with ping ratings above 800, (and a hell of a lot more expensive). Starlink is an exception with pings that go as minimally as 60 and go up to 200. Then with speeds that technically can go up 300 mbps. Although as customers grow for the platform, speeds have dipped down as low as 10 mbps download, (or lower), so this service will also be a last resort option. In my experience, despite being almost next door to the net3 tower, I would receive speeds around 7 mbps download (for the 20mbps package). Prime time hours would result in even slower speeds. Only on the first couple days did I receive anything above 15mbps, and or super early mornings (5 AM-ish). Ping was on average 150, but would dip down as low as 60, and go up as high as 600 - 700 during prime time. Jitter was 30ms on average (as expected for any wireless or satellite service). Update: After being a customer for almost a decade, I've decided to leave due to poor, overpriced service. To cancel, I had to pay another month as fee, then they wanted to pick up the dish and $5 modem. Net3/RTA would give me a date to pick up the service, but no rough time, so they arrived at 5 in the morning. Because there are no other proper internet providers here, I decided on getting an unlimited business hotspot line with AT&T. Because AT&T had a cell tower half a mile away, I have been able to achieve speeds above 150mbps down and 50 to 100 ping on average. Hopefully due to the large amount of homes around here Net 3, or some other provider will bring fiber or wired internet out here, (385 Ranch Estates).
