If you are able to go to any other heart institute, please do. Every time I come here I have an appointment made well in advance. And every time Im here I have to wait at least 2 hours to get into a room, usually 3. They overbook and it takes half my day for a 30 minute appointment. The receptionist tend to mislead and not provide needed information for my visits. I called ahead and specifically asked if I was doing a stress test and if I needed to dress a certain way or prepare and they said no. Upon arrival I found out I was doing a stress test, and getting a heart monitor I would have to wear for 24 hours. I was wearing flip flops and jeans which really threw off my test. And I had to cancel my plans later that night because I was not allowed to workout wearing the monitor. Some of the nurses are very very sweet and caring. But its honestly 50/50. Safe yourself the time and find somewhere else to go.

Today I got an echo with Erik, and he was awesome! He had very good bedside manner and awesome customer service! I definitely recommend!!!!

If you arrive 5 minutes late they won't serve you, but they make you wait for hours

We waited 3 hours or a little more from the time of my husband's appointment only to be seen for less than 20 minutes. The doctor was nice and explained a lot, but the wait time is way too long. Another patient complained that he had been there 4 hours or more.
