If you want convenience don’t use this bank. They are still stuck in the past there app doesn’t work properly always crashes. I got fraud on my account they said they fixed it. Then they gave me the credit for it then turned it around and charged me for it. WTH. Then lady in the location called vendor and didnt even have the transaction in record so confirmed it was fraud. Still didn’t get credit. Don’t use Lonestar National Bank!

My husband and I built our first home and we had a horrible experience with Lone Star. I do not recommend them. Lack of communication, we wouldn’t get any of our calls/texts returned. They did not do anything to help us through our first experience.

If you are looking for a commercial or residential loan do not come here! This is the 3rd time we have used this bank for a commercial loan and it will be the last. We figured the repeat business would expedite the loan process but this was not the case. We have excellent credit (800+) and all of the prior loans we had with Lonestar bank were paid off early. We were pulling out 2 loans for an acquisition. The 2 Properties were put under contract and closing.was scheduled 45 days after the effective date. Before finalizing the real estate contract we called the bank to see if the closing date was doable. The bank assured us this was plenty of time to close both loans. However, the loans took close to 90 days to complete. Not only is this unacceptable but it caused problems with the sellers and forced us to pay additional money to secure the properties. Because the deals didn’t close as promised by the bank in a timely manner, we were forced to pay an additional $5k on top of the the agreed upon sales price. We should not have had to pay the extra money, but if we hadn’t the deal would have been dead. We asked the bank to take the $5k off our loan, which we would not have had to pay had they executed things as promised to both us and the seller, but they have not agreed to do so. Do yourself a favor, save yourself the stress and go with a bank / company that can communicate clearly and follow through as promised.
