        What a delightful surprise we had in staying at this hidden gem off I27 in Lubbock! A budget motel with all the basics done well! Clean, tidy, and with comfortable beds (fairly firm). The breakfast bar had all the expected things found at Choice line motels and food was fresh. The people who run the place are so kind and friendly, and even had treats for the dog. I give this place a 5 star rating for cleanliness, location, and value, and the people of course. Nearby activities: The dog park at Clapp-Hub City Park is grassy and huge! My dog loved it!

        Manager on night duty is very rude and unhelpful. 15 to 20 min walk or ride share to anything. Smelled of cigarettes.
