Totally screwed me by saying she would help on a upcoming case...didnt get back with me and left me to attend a hearing alone.....absolutely avoid. She was the d student in law school and an f student in social skills.

Most attorneys finish each day they work on your file with a short update email on where your file is in the process..... WE GOT NOTHING.... Infact, we did not know the divorce was complete for 2 MONTHS after judge signed. When we would email asking for basic updates, that ANY other attorney would have automatically sent, we would get hefty charges claiming she needed to "review our file so she could answer the question." We had one $55 charge to say, "Yes, I sent the package to other party to sign 2 weeks ago, but have not received it back." How hard would it have been to shoot an email out two weeks ago, while our file was in her hand, and say, "Decree was written and sent out for signatures today!!" Part of the issue with no communication is that papers go out before the client can review them. The decree had other party's name misspelled throughout entire thing, and a wrong birthday on kid. Had she communicated that decree was written, and let us review before mailing, it would have saved much time, money, and irritation. To end, honestly, I find her to be a nice person with an honest heart; nevertheless, her poor organization and total absence of very basic communication skills overshadows her ability as an attorney.
