The rooms in the hotel are clean and spacious and staff was kind. Our suite (king + sofa bed) didn't come with any extra blankets & pillows for the sofa bed, and because the hotel was full they did not have extras they could give us. Also maybe because the hotel was full, the breakfast was more like a continental breakfast with microwaved hash browns and sausage links, rotating yogurt/oatmeal + toppings, and toast/bagels/English muffins. The staff was having a hard time keeping it stocked and coffee was gone each day at least an hour before breakfast was over. Also the pool was closed for maintenance Rooms: Rooms are large, our room was spacious, clean, and seemed to be well maintained Food & drinks: There is a small cafe at the front counter with pastries, juices/soda, and coffee. The "buffet" breakfast was very limited and poorly stocked.

Once again Ill say this is a nice hotel. Hyatt Place hotels mostly are at least decent but Baton Rouge showed me they can be kind of terrible sometimes but Alliance in Fort Worth you guys know what customer service means

Im shocked that people could give this place a 5-star. For starters, the rooms are beat up. I was on the 6th floor. The first room I was in had a HORRIBLE stain on it. Unfortunately I used my imagination. Sometimes I dont like my imagination. Next, the shower was luke warm for about 5-6 minutes, then out of nowhere got scorching hot. Next, the AC unit!!! I swear to you I almost got up and threw it out the window. Every single time it would kick on and for about 30 seconds following that, it made a horrible noise. Enough to wake me from a dead sleep every single time. And then right when I fall back asleep, it clunks again waking me up again. It was a very very long night. The next day, I went down by the pool area. Well, enough said there. I get that maybe it isnt open due to the season but this is just embarrassing. I went to ask for a different room for the second and third night and they gave it to me. This room appears to be ok, minus the obvious abuse it has taken since the last remodel, which from the looks appears to have been quite a while ago. Their continental breakfast is just ok. Has half that of other hotels Ive stayed at. Next, and this is possibly one of the most annoying things, theres no usb or usbc ports to plug in my charger cables for my phones! And to make things worse, one side of the bed has the only two outlets taken! One by a clock, and one by the light mounted on the wall!! No outlets on either of these two devices. Next, on the other side of the bed, the outlet is covered by one of the legs from the little nightstand table they made! So I had to go to the opposite side of the bed that I sleep on, unplug the wall mounted light fixture and luckily I had a two port wall charger for both my phones to charge from one outlet or Id be needing to go to the bathroom counter to plug my stuff in. Even the lowest tier best western had USB ports to plug into! Come on Hyatt think outside the box a little!! First let me start off by saying if you click on my profile, I write reviews often. More often than not I give positive reviews, so you will see I am no complainer generally speaking, but this propertyewwI was told Hyatts are a step above others, but let me tell you, the last 6 best western pluss I stayed at prior to trying this Hyatt experience were ALL superior, and not just by a little, by a lot! From the bed comfort, to the continental breakfast. I am quite shocked I gave a 2 star. With my troubles and the pool I should have done 1, but here I am still stuck at 2. Oh well
