I've been meaning to write this for the past year so here we go! If you are a parent or a simple college student venturing on their leasing journey; do not choose these apartments. As a resident here, lets delve into the reasons shall we; at the beginning of my stay everything looked remarkable such as the amenities, proximity to campus and their modern appliances! But, you can't truly judge a place by their appearance nor the tour you've just gone on. Nothing beats getting to know a place than actually living it! For you reading this review; I give my upmost honesty so be prepared. First things first if you didn't manage to smell weed as you progressed through the facility then YOU WERE SO VERY LUCKY! I've never smelled such a smell SO pungent that it reached the parking lot. It's most concentrated on the first floor and 3rd floor. To specify, on the first floor to the end of the hallway that leads to the dog park, and the elevator next to the fire exit. The room, right next to that door which I believe to be 126, has the most prominent smell of that herb which just spreads like wildfire to the end of the corridor and garage. To put it bluntly, if your room is close to that elevator which it might as theres only 2 elevators in the facility. Then you too will be crossing that hallway! Heading to the lobby? You'll smell it! Want to get mail or pick up a package at the smart lockers? You'll also smell it! Want something from the vending machines? You guessed it, you'll smell it! Want to go work out? You know the answer. Not only does it pertain from that specific room but all the doors that lead inside. And boy do I have something to say about those doors, when it comes to security guess what! There's none! The gates that leads to the garage are always broken, literally, it's always open. And just a few months ago, a car ran into one of the gates causing it to be broken for about a month. Which was later fixed but you guessed it, its broken once again letting any car through. The gate that is used to exit the garage is always open and as its next to the one that is supposed to be the entry gate; you have those people that can't just simply wait for the ENTER HERE gate to open, so they go through the EXIT GATE, causing potential crashes for those trying to leave (I know because on an occasion, I was about to pull out of the garage to find a white sedan hit the breaks immediatly since he thought he could go through the EXIT GATE) Moving forward with the security: The doors, EVERY SINGLE DOOR THAT IS ON THE EXTERIOR IS BROKEN, The facility apparantly once had a concept of double door security where you have a door on the exterior of the building, and then another door to make sure you have a key to get it. The most prime examples are a, the exterior door that is right next to the jack in the box is open for the public to use! It's not even closed which can be seen if you're wanting to drop by and get a burger. The next example would be on the third floor, so the reason why the third floor is special is because it leads exactly to the main road that connects campus and the main market dining hall. So very convenient to campus, but, as it also connected to the main road, you would like to think the door that allows entry to the facility would be locked correct? No! The exterior door is completely flimsly, it has an "apparent" lock to input your resident key to get in but dont bother! As the thing doesnt even need one to get it! as the locking mechanism is broken! Now how about that second door I mentioned prior, that one would surely be locked wouldn't it? NO AGAIN! As it doesn't even close anymore! Now let's say for some reason that door ever closes, it doesn't take a genious to go up the stairs (which shouldn't be acessible if you aren't a resident but guess what; the exterior door doesn't even work to stop non residents!) So, you kindly make your way up the stairs to the fourth floor and make a discovery that the door of the 4th floor, has A BROKEN HANDLE, so waltz your way right in! I've exceeded the limit so TBC in
