Hardwood Floors Refinishing Specialist

We just moved into a older home that was built in the 60s. We did not want to get rid of the original hardwood flooring so we contacted Hardwood Floors Specialist. The owner was prompt and detailed thus we hired them for our project. The job was better than I expected looks like new flooring. Service: Flood restoration

The men that did the actual work were good honest men. They made sure I loved my floors and had great customer service. However, I dont believe the owner of the business ever even came back to my home to inspect the job. He just hired subcontractors to do the work and collected a check. Then tried to hit me with surprise costs after the job was done instead of communicating throughout the project and telling me upfront. But again this was probably bc he never came back to the project to supervise or check on the workers. Overall I would not recommend this guy, temperament is very short and hostile when communicating. Louis and his team of workers however were great. Would recommend them. Not the business owner. DO NOT USE this Business. Said he would start the job, but did not start as schedule. Never Called to say he was late. After I called him, he said he would start at 10:30 am. Once he arrived to my home, he was not dressed or prepared to do the job. Instead, he gave an excuse why he could not start the job. Note, he never told me told me he could not do the job when I called him on the phone. Stole my deposit, by not providing a refund. Service: Install flooring

I am extremely disappointed in Hardwood Floors Refinishing Specialist. They did substandard work, including placing flooring backwards so that it later separated. The warranty is worthless, as the supervisor refuses to respond to my many requests to fix the floor. I provided the floor boards, so the cost was labor only. The high price was definitely not worth the work. I've had to pay another company to fix this company's low-quality work.

I cannot recommend this company. The owner came into my house with an attitude, spent 3 minutes looking at the damage, asked two questions ("How much water got under the floor." Ans: "I don't know, gallons", and "Was it remediated (dried)?" Ans: "yes". He said he did not want the job, turned and headed for the door without explanation. When I asked why (to his receding back), he said "because I don't believe you." Never even looked at me. Not once. I ask "Why? About what?" He refused to answer, just walked out and drove away. I have never experienced a more bizarre, inexplicable encounter with another person.
