        I finished the basics class and then would come whenever I got stuck on a project and sherry would patiently help me. She is so passionate about what she does and so warm and friendly as well. She is a great teacher. You will learn things from her that are impossible to learn from online videos. The learning environment was super flexible and after I completed the basics I was free to just come in and essentially learn from a master anything I was curious about. Cant recommend Thimble Fingers enough.

        I came in knowing absolutely nothing about a sewing machine - but I knew I was going to be a very dedicated student and learn! The staff here is wonderful - so kind, knowledgeable, and always sharing tricks of the trade that I would never know to even think about! The course progression is logical - sewing is about precision and patience and knowing how to handle your fabric - and in the first project I learned all that! I've since progressed to more complicated projects and am so grateful to have the expertise and kind support of the teachers at this studio. I also really love that students learn from each other ... It's a beautiful environment and I love going! Thanks so much for all that you do!!

        So glad I decided to sign up for classes this summer to brush up and pick up on a few more sewing techniques. My daughters and I took classes here YEARS AGO and we all still sew, but before I tried some really advanced patterns, I wanted to brush up my skills. I get to work on new patterns, learn as I go at my own pace, and still hear tips and reviews as instructors help other students working around me. Best of both worlds! I learn so many new things during each class. In case you are wondering how it works, you work at your own pace. You choose the project you want to work on. The owner and instructors give good solid advice so that you don't feel overwhelmed. I'm about to finish a new dress with techniques I had never tried before ... and it's only been 3 classes since I started it! Thank you, Sherry, for sharing your craft!
