The experience with this company was the worst! I have a customer that was in the process of refinancing. Well before his closing he obtained his homeowners insurance and his agent sent all paperwork to loan officer. After closing mortgage did not want to pay his insurance. Agent contacted them in regards to the issue and they never resolved the problem, they just blamed each other and never returned calls or emails to apologize about the inconvenience. I am an agent and I will never recommend this company to my clients.

Our experience with Houston Capital Mortgage was very positive.
I personally liked the fact that people working with us were patient, courteous and always ready to provide additional explanations and clarifications to the numerous questions we had being the first-time home buyers.
The approval process was a breeze and notwithstanding some issues arising now and again with the other party, Houston Capital Mortgage has managed to bring the close on the date that was planned.
We worked with Stacy London throughout the process and she impressed us as very knowledgeable, experienced and accommodating person. As a result we felt quite confident that our concerns are addressed appropriately.
HCM will be at the top of my list when we decide to do this again.

Love them! Houston Capitol Mortgage literally saved us from having to walk out of a deal one week before closing. Our first mortgage company denied us as small business owners and Houston Capitol took the time to listen to our situation, got us approved for a mortgage, and we were able to close on time! Sandra our loan processor was simply wonderful- even working late nights so we could close on time. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I will recommend them in the future and definitely work with them again if I buy another house in Houston!
