Awesome stay. They were so nice and worked with me to help me have a place to stay during odd hours due to my schedule/job. Really saved my night. The room was beautiful, clean, and cozy. I really liked the bathroom as well. Everything was nice. Felt like I was on a little vacation. Prices are amazing for this little gem.

First of all the room is clean, and everything on the room was nice. I really love this motel or hotel and the lady works evening shifts she nice and cool. I wanna say to her thank you and god bless you, happy new year to all of you guys. Even the guy in the morning shift was nice too. Thank you guys

The location was perfect for me to attend my great aunt birthday party. The hotel is very nice on the outside, the room is also very nice inside with a few exceptions. It looks like a great remodel into a modern luxury type hotel.
When I checked in, the staff at the front desk were extremely rude insisting that I didn't pay. I had to call the reservation office to get them to speak with them about me already paying. On top of that it took 30 mins for me to get the OYO on the line. They couldn't even reach them. All of this took over 30 mins, if I wasn't tired from my 4 hour drive, I would have canceled the reservation. That experience was absolutely unprofessional and because of that I will not be staying here again in life.
When I got to the room, I started my own disinfectant, wiped down the surfaces, bathroom, etc. The bathroom tiles were gross, the paper towel was black when I wiped it down. The headboard was also gross, there were lots of finger prints and dirt at the top. The mini kitchen are was incomplete, there was no sink and the microwave was sitting on top of the whole where the sink should be. After wiping that down, I went back to the bathroom to find feces smeared on the floor near the toilet.
At night the there were bugs crawling under the door into the room. The website said the places was pet friendly so I paid $40/day for both my dogs. The front desk waived the deposit fee, I'm assuming because they treated very unprofessional when I first got there. The issue with the pet friendly is there is no where on the property for pets to relieve themselves. The plant beds aren't enough, and not to mention the homeless people I encountered in the back by the fence when I was looking for grass for my dogs to go #2.
Today I was getting ready to check out so I grabbed my suitcase to take to the car, it was 1030, when I went back to the door, my key stopped working. So I had to walk to the front desk with my suitcase to fix my key. Thw older gentleman was at the desk again. I explained I was packing up my car and he said are you checking in. I repeated again that I'm about to check out my key isn't working. He fixed the key, then says ohh you have luggage . I went back to the room and loaded up my car. When I got back to the front desk, i said im checking out, the same older guy ask the same question again if I paid like he did on Friday. I told him i paid on Friday when i came along with the pet deposit. He asked again if i paid, then a young man asked how canni help you, so i told him im checking out. He said ok, i gave him the key and walked away. No disrespect to the elderly, but why do you guys continuously put someone with memory loss, and obviously doesn't know what he is doing at the front desk.
Overall the place has potential, however there are a few adjustments that need to be made.
I hope this post helps anyone that reads this.
Safety: There are homeless people that hang out near the property line. I witnessed the horrific view of one of them taking a dump by the dumpster. I can never unsee that.
Walkability: You can walk to the coffee shop , nail salon/barber and walmart. HEB is also down the street.
Food & drinks: The location is perfect, there are lots of food options in this area. Walmart is literally around the corner and accessible through the parking lot.
