        I booked a group rate for a competition. The competition unfortunately got canceled and had no other day available. The hotel tried to charge me for the full stay for all 15 rooms, even though no contract had been signed and they had not informed me that the cancelation policy was not their normal. I requested the cancelation more than a month out from the date of check in. I do not agree with how the hotel administration handled this. This is the only IHG hotel that we have had a problem with and we frequently take overnight trips. We will never stay at this location again. If you are planning on obtaining a group booking, I would look for a different IHG hotel or approach this one with an extreme amount of caution.
