Im updating my review to reflect a change in situation. I used Timberline twice. The first time was to order $14k worth of flooring for my unfinished third floor. The contractor I hired botched the job, so I reached out to Timberline again to see if it could be salvaged. They determined that it was a full loss and needed to be completely ripped out. The flooring I had chosen, which matched the rest of that found in my home, was no longer available, so Titus, the salesperson I dealt with, showed me three similar samples. I picked the one that looked most similar, but he never explained to me that it was a much thinner product than what we originally had. At this point, I had already spent close to $30k with Timberline, so would have been fine spending more had I known how inferior this product was. When it arrived, even the installers were shocked by its flimsiness, and it didnt even look like the sample, but Titus assured me I would love it once it was all installed. Knowing full well the issues with the subfloor that caused the first install to be botched, they did not take into account that the thinner wood would result in a dip at the landing, which could have easily been avoided by using a thin sheet of wood as an underlayment. This wasnt done, and the result is a noticeable dip that can be both felt and seen with the naked eye. When I pointed this out to Titus, he refused to do anything about it. Beyond rudely accusing me of lying to cover up his own mistakes, Titus basically abandoned the project, leaving stairs that I had paid to be refinished not completed, and leaving a bunch of quarter round for me to figure out how to dispose of. Timberline is happy to sell you flooring, and they are fine for that, but I would avoid them like the plague if you have a challenging install and want someone who will stand behind their work.

Timberline cares about its customers. They hire people like Jim Flores. We had an issue with the factory sending broken product. He advocated and kept me informed, until he achieved a positive resolution. Thanks, Jim!

I love working with Odi at Timberline Flooring. Weve had to replace flooring due to flooding two times and each time she worked hard to help me find floors that matched mine and then to have them shipped to Louisiana. Everything was always seamless. She called me at every step, including after the job was finished, to make sure I was satisfied.
