If you are looking for a great remediation company you can stop right here as this company is the BEST! They are honest, caring, knowledgeable and their customer service is wonderful. They had me taken care of with in hours of the call. I highly recommend Bionic.

We had an AC drain line leak in our wall, leaving it damp. After the AC repair, Bionic was recommended by the technician, and we were concerned about possible mold growth, so we called them. They came out and set up three fans and a dehumidifier. Here is why they get a 2 star rating: 1. Value: We paid $1200 to have the equipment in our house for 4 days. For that cost, I could have started an LLC, bought all of the equipment they used, and paid myself $300/hr. In other terms, the cost to rent the equipment for 4 days was twice the cost to buy all of the equipment new. 2. Quality: As part of the "restoration", our carpet was lifted and baseboards removed. When I was told this would be done, I made the nave assumption that they would be reinstalled afterward. I guess this one is on me, because I didn't ask for clarification of the scope of work, and apparently the contract (which I did not receive a copy of) stated that they do not restore the damage they cause. So now the carpet (which was fine prior to their arrival) is damaged and will potentially have to be replaced. 3. Peace of mind: At least I know there won't be any mold, right? Nope. Other than an initial chemical spray, there was no check for mold growth after the process was complete. And I'm guessing (because I wasn't provided a copy) that the contract states that they aren't culpable for future mold growth caused by any failure on their part. The one positive is that I come away with this having learned some lessons: - Remember that businesses have their own best interests at heart, not yours, and verify everything no matter how obvious it seems. - Read the contract thoroughly and don't assume anything. Just because they don't tell you something doesn't mean it's not part of the agreement. - Start a company in the water restoration area, as you can turn huge profit margins without accepting any accountability or risk.
