Budget Car Rental

During this trip I rented two cars for two different locations. The other company was Nu car rental. Nu was a nightmare. They charged me $500 for 1 day, would not allow me to extend, tried to give me a mini van, they were late with given me a vehicle I had to wait for an hour. Budget/Avis - had NONE of those problems. In the future I will go to Budget/Avis first time, every time.

Vehicle type we reserved was unavailable and the representative was aggressively trying to sell a more expensive car type. In the end we got a Van instead of a much smaller car we wanted. The van was difficult to drive and we felt really cheated by budget. I will avoid budget in future.

All the companies are the same same facilities, same staff, probably the same cars. Find the cheapest deal with the features you need. Itll change day to day because thats the marketing game. Like a cat chasing its tail, the brands compete with each other to offer the same physical products and services. Every offer is a contrived game. But you have to play or you wont be getting the best deal on the day youre there.

Everything was great except the return. Wasn't really easy on where to take car upon return. They were part of Avis and there weren't any signs about budget cars.
