Sachse Montessori

This place was horrible. They belittled our child that attended there. Even grabbed his chin forcing him to look at the lady at the front and said “you will be good today”. My son looked horrified. The teacher seemed to have little training. I was told she gets stressed out due to the kids and has to take off. So glad we moved to another school. Beware of this place.

We've had our three children here for over a year now, The owner and teachers are fantastic people who care about the kids and enjoy what they do. They teach children in a happy and nurturing environment. They keep the place very clean and I feel my children is as safe there as they would be with our own families. They have programs prepping your child for elementary school. Their after school program is wonderful because they do all their homework before we pick them up and get help from the teacher if needed.

Prior to attending Sachse Montessori my 3 year old son was attending a well-known posh Montessori Academy. I was under the impression you get what you pay for so I was paying top dollar for a new facility and shiny playground equipment where the children wore uniforms. Only to find out that my son was in an overcrowded room with teachers who were struggling to keep up with the head count. Since moving over to Sachse Montessori which is an older but refinished facility with not so shiny playground equipment, no uniforms required. The class ratios are small, with teachers who are attentive and caring and keep me in the loop on my son’s progress. My son is not just growing he is thriving, flourishing and well ahead of his age group. His confidence has improved and his love for learning continues to grow. Sachse Montessori has focused on what I consider to be the most important aspects of early childhood learning; a solid foundation for curiosity and learning, while letting children be children. Making the move from our overly price posh Montessori Academy/Daycare has been the best decision my husband and I have made for our son yet.
