Waited ten days for install. Not too bad, expected in rural areas maybe. Rain on the day of the install meant they couldn't install. Turns out- they have NO rain contingency plan- its back to the bottom of the list for an install. So now I am stuck waiting 3 more weeks. Attitude of the sales team was really that of "we dont need your business" and, maybe they don't. Just prepare yourself for extremely long install wait times

I wish I was able to leave more than one review, as I would rate the service and my technician very differently. I would give Nextlink themselves 2-3 stars strictly because it has been a struggle to maintain good service, back and forth calls with Nextlink for the past 6 months. We have had a few technicians out in the past, who either really didn't care or didn't understand how to fix the problems. However, I am rating the service today to lend support to the technician that help us today. He was friendly, he was engaging, he listened to what we described as the observable problems, and took the time to see the repeatable problem himself. Once he made the diagnosis and proper repairs, the service became stable and held a signal. Thanks to Charles Quirolo for getting it right. He saved this account from being closed.

Recently Nextlink has gone through north Texas towns installing their fiber infrastructure. This is great but they ripped up so many people's yards without any notice. After ripping up people's yards, they did not repair people's yards, restoring g home owners property to as it was. They dig up the good top soil and the Rocky subsoil only to fill the holes back in, burying the good topsoil and putting the Rocky substrate on top, which home owners now have to deal with. These rocks get sucked up into people's lawnmowers and can act as projectiles - and now homeowners have to spend THEIR TIME THEIR EFFORT AND THEIR MONEY fixing Nextlinks lack of responsibility doing things right. Ya - we are going to get 'we are sorry to hear of your- yadydadayda ' lame response to this post but they don't care about homeowners- especially elderly and low income homeowners who just sit their and watch their lawns get messed up without Nextlink doing things the right way
