Evolution Moving provided excellent service, no broken items. They were respectful and communicated. However, the price was well above their quote. Me being the only move of the day, they took their time which added to the price. Nearly $750 for a 1 bed room equivalent. Double what I have ever spent on any previous move. And this was with me helping carrying down the lighter weight stuff the whole time. After telling them i had an appt in an hour, they unloaded 3/4 the truck into a storage bin in 30 min. Good service, but make sure to rush them along if they don't have an afternoon. Otherwise you will be paying the bill. Proceed with caution if you are worried about the pocket book.

Worst experience I ever had with movers and Ive moved 20 times the past 30 years. They left behind all kinds of items in my last apartment, and worst of all one of the movers stole a piece of artwork I did as a fine arts major in college. One of the movers had commented how much he liked it and guess what, it ended up missing and I only moved 6 miles away. I had that piece since 1983 and it has been moved dozens of times and never went missing. They also tried to keep some brand new moving boxes that were still in cellophane. When I contacted the owner about the missing pieces, the boxes were returned, but not my artwork. Whoever stole this of course would not admit to it. DO NOT use these movers unless you want stolen and/or missing items. The photos below are just some of the items that were left by them in my last apartment.

Louie from Evolution Moving was my contact for move starting at 2pm. Guess what time he arrived 8 minutes before 2pm. Move was estimated to take 2.5 hours. OK I will tell you, it took exactly 2.5 hours. I think I had more boxes than furniture . Louie and his assistant were young, polite, communicating through out move. I was pleasantly surprised by both young men. You could tell they liked there job. Thank you for your excellence. Elizabeth Moran .
