OK to buy tile from but they have terrible installers. Do not use their people.

This was the first and last time I will purchase anything from this business. Began with not much help when first selecting tile, not told about cleaning products you cant use on certain tiles, getting a phone call saying everything is in and contractor finding it wasnt so delaying install. The business hours are just a suggestion the sales person sometimes leaves early or takes a day off when told she would be back and the business was closed. The final straw was calling 3 times to ask if we could return 4 BOXES of shower tile and never getting a phone call back. Finally went into store and was told their distributor would not take anything back when we were told previously they had a 3 box minimum. I think the lady that helped us is the only person that works in the showroom frustrating because the professionalism is certainly lacking.

McNamara flooring completed four separate wood floor install projects at our home over the years. We also contracted with them to replace and refinish the wood floors in our daughters townhome in Dallas. All has been good. Installers have been courteous, clean and responsive. Two months ago we had them out to assess a repair to our wood floor due to a water issue. They quickly came out to review the situation and recommend a solution. glowing their review I was frequently told the estimate was on its way. Then a story about my email not working. Then a story about the salesperson getting married. After numerous calls and text messages to the estimator, I called the store and was told the salesperson would bet back to me. Still no response after another week. I realize that it is a small job, but be upfront and honest about your plan. I would not work with this firm again. Clear communication and follow through on what one says is critical and it seems that this firm is not capable of delivering on those basic expectations.
