Before placing my mother in this facility they sent a nurse over to evaluate my mom in order to see what level of care she needed. The nurse seemed somewhat flippant, but I was going to be in the hospital and needed someone to take care of my mother. A large fee was charged just to get her in. The staff who worked there were extremely nice. I cant say the same for the nurse, I think her name was Lisa. My mother laid there for days complaining of pain with no treatment. I sent some special toothpaste and other things to her and the nurse just kept it until I confronted her about it. The last straw was when they continued to allow a male resident to keep going into my mothers room and showing my mom ways to get out of the facility unnoticed. She obviously needed a higher level of care. The amount they were going to charge us for that was more than I could afford. I was trying to make arrangements to place her someplace else when they told me she caught COVID and needed to be removed from their facility asap. I had to pay for another agency to stay round the clock in the room with my mother for the next couple of days which was also a huge cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff at Clare Bridge is attentive to my mom's needs both physical and emotional. I feel like we are partners in her care, and this has built a level of trust. They're warm with her and me at all times.

My Father has been a Resident for several months now. So far, I'm giving them 1 out of 5 recommendation, I expect more for the $$$ it cost, sometimes it feels like a Warehouse. You can tell that it's 'just a job' for most of them, no accountability is a real issue here. You should not work in a facility like this when you don't CARE, after all, this is the main reason for you being there! Laziness and Attitude are prevalent on a daily basis! I'll keep you informed on our experience, so check back. Update: Well, since I've posted my review things have only gotten worse! My Father was denied Tylenol after he fell in their facility two days in a row! The Elderly and the Young are the most vulnerable.
