Ive been here for about 4 months now and love living here! I live alone and am just here for a medical rotation, so its minimalist living for me, and this is just the perfect place for that! Its small but if youre a tidy person, the space can really open up. Its pricey for a small unit, but if you get a furnished one, I think its worth the price compared to other local options that offer furnished apartments. I would recommend not paying extra for the surface parking lot because its super narrow, the dumpsters are always in the way, and theres not really much added security for those spaces than if you just parked along the street. In my four months here, Ive only seen 2 small bugs and they sent pest control out the day after I emailed them about it. Theyre friendly people and this is a nice little unit. Emphasis on little. But its cute and just enough space for one person (or 2 tidy people).

Sayli and Camryn have made staying at CoHo a great experience! There were some issues the first week moving in but they accommodated me greatly. Its a small community and the location is within walking distance of plenty of great restaurants. I love the view from my apartment window. The rent is affordable and I love the ORI system. The ORI system is great for someone who is a minimalist because it includes a table, entertainment center, closet, and bed all into one! You only need a couple of chairs or a small couch so it is perfect for someone who wants to save on buying furniture. CoHo is a great starter home or for someone looking to downsize!

Please don't move here! I've had so many issues. First, I moved out on January 19th and they aren't sending my deposit till March 29th which goes against Texas Property Code section 92.103 states, mentions "the landlord shall refund a security deposit to the tenant on or before the 30th day after the date the tenant surrenders the premises." I asked Sayli for financial compensation via email March 9th since this puts me in a bind financially and goes against Texas Law (I should've gotten itno later than 2.19). She has refused to respond to this request. For some reason before I emailed her this request their office kept saying since November 2023 - February 2024 I would get it within 30 days of my move out date but now they are saying they didn't close my account till 2.29 which makes no sense and goes against Texas rental law. Second, the day I first moved in January 19 2023 and left January 2024 the AC, which is a Samsung Wall Mounting Unit, kept having issues. It leaks and the last 3 weeks before I left it had my whole apartment smelling like mildew. When I asked maintenance to fix it they said to put an air freshener in it. Mind you this was during the winter storm in January when it was 0 degrees outside. So I had to stay in a cold apartment with a heater since the mildew which could have potentially been mold was effecting my respiratory system. I kept getting headaches and was very congested when it was on. Third, when I asked about community events the property manager said I had to leave them a 5 star review so hopefully their corporate office will see how good they are so they will host them. Before the new property manager, Magnolia, took over last Fall I was told there would me monthly community events. That was one of the reasons I moved here. Many of the residents were hurt when I told them this since they moved here for that as well. Unfortunately, when they took over they hosted one community event last year which was a meet and greet with their office. Cost: $100 per month to park in garage and sometimes the gate is broken. $100 per day to rent the club house. I moved here to use it for my Bible study group for an hour. Before they took over the $100 was refundable. Why do I have to pay $100 per day to use something that most apartments provide for free with a refundable deposit. Safety: For the love of god don't park on the street. My front and driver window got smashed within 6 months of each other. I begged the office to send me a video of it since it happened on their property on the sidewalk next to the CoHo sign. They denied my request. So I had to beg a relative for $500 to fix it so I could go to work safely. They complex was nice enough to let me park in their garage for a week so my car wouldn't get vandalized. Another thing the homeless here are out of control. They seriously need security at night. I was targeted while here at night and again a homeless was outside near the complex gate from 10AM-10PM. When I advised them to get security since others such as my neighbor have reported this safety issue as well, they said just call the police. I'm gonna keep it , the police don't do anything. Once the police leave they come right back. The ONLY fix is having a night time security guard. My friend has this at her apartment in Dallas which is included with her $800/month rent and 400 Sq ft. As you can see you don't get a piece of mind and safety with over $1,300/month with an apartment that is 346 Sq ft. Do your honest research before you move and be careful of those 5 star reviews. I will say the people that work for Magnolia have sweet personalities and they did help with a few problems.

I love this place, and overall haven't had a bed experience. I let the A/C do it's self-clean so it dries the drip tray and doesn't leak, I pay online, ect. Pretty quiet here too which I love because I work from home and they usually maintain the grounds well. While it is fairly quiet, they recently implemented a 24/7 tour system. This marvel of tech means vacant apartments can spring to life at a moments notice, how thrilling! I get this thrill for free from the apartment above mine, who needs to go out when you can enjoy this? Most mornings I don't need my alarm clock because between 6am-7am to the magical sound of someone in high heels walking around the apartment, maybe staff, because it's pretty consistent, which is a bonus...shortly thereafter, usually before 8am, I'm again entertained and enchanted by the sounds of someone moving the Ori unit, think electronic Murphy bed, which just sounds electronic but loud enough to hear. Today I had the pleasure of a new sound when the person on tour decided to move the Ori unit without moving the chairs or pushing the table in, so it sounded like an industrial meat grinder, just past 8am! Nothing says good morning like money being made, unless you have a job that doesn't make you get up early. All in all I'd expect staff to know better, and for there to be better directions for those on tour, however, that would require the implementation of common sense.
