Matt is a peer of mine that I have a great amount of respect for. I met Matt about 5 years back at an upper level Appraisal Institute class. He is very knowledgeable on appraisals, and very professional in how he conducts his business. He is one of my go-to people when needing to bounce ideas off of to get a fresh perspective on an appraisal problem. I would not hesitate in recommending Matts appraisal services to friends or family in the area.

Had an appraisal done by this company. Long story short they were extremely low on the value. We pointed out more then a few concerns that we had with the appraisal report. They refused to reconsider and revise the report which was very disappointing. We ended up selling our home about 1 month after for $55,000.00 more then what they appraised the home. The new appraisal that was done at the time of sale came in at $440k compared to the one performed by this company which was $385k. It makes you wonder whether ethnicity played a factor in their decision making? To put things in perspective for anyone reading this, they essentially could have cost us $55,000 for failing to do their job correctly. Imagine selling your home and thinking your house is worth a certain amount and having your realtor confirm that value using local comps and then an appraisal comes in this low? Do not use this company they are terrible and incompetent.

I can't say enough about Matt. As a local lender I had a VA loan closing in 2 days and still needing a final inspection since it was a new construction transaction. Matt jumped through hoops and got this done with 3 hours of reaching out to him for some help. Because of his incredible customer service our Veteran client will be able to close on his new home on time.
