        Im sure these guys do fine work. But our experience with arriving at an acceptable fee was not good. Ours was a simple, one hour project for which I supplied the needed materials. When the technician arrived (on time) he had to produce an estimate which included a very handsome hourly rate x2 just in case it took longer than an hour, a $20 material charge for 3c worth of silicone, an additional service charge ($68), a fuel surcharge since it was a residential project (??), and a 4% fee if we paid with a credit card. So when all this got added up we felt it time to look for a more reasonable solution. So then the tech presents a bill for the estimate, $83. I dont recall agreeing to pay for an estimate. He gets the boss on the phone who proudly informs me he did mention the estimate because he has it on tape! Wow. So, if you use these guys you should thoroughly vet all that they will charge you and then shop around. The tech appeared to be very competent, was apologetic about the experience and offered suggestions on how to get the job done. For us this was the wrong company to deal with.

        Saw the great reviews and thought I'd get an estimate from them. It was a ridiculous estimate for some trim work on my home, 3x more than another bid I got. The guy was ready to estimate and didn't even have everything I was looking for which seemed odd. They are so focused on collecting the initial estimate fee, which they even add a fuel surcharge on ($7.99), I guess that's how they make their money. Disappointed here, be wary.

        My experience was great! We had a complicated job with a new vent hood that was a bit too large and Troy Hastings from Mr. Handyman was able to assess and get the job done with it looking perfect by the end. Lifesaver
