I had an appointment for a cut and color. The cost was outrageous but it's my own fault for waiting until the last minute so I figured I had no choice. The location was local for me so I was willing to give it a try although there were several poor reviews from clients regarding their experiences. I arrived on time for my appointment. After a couple minutes a gentleman came to see what I needed and said he'd be right with me. There were already 2 other ladies in chairs with hair processing and a third that he was working on. She had several issues regarding both the cut and her color and the gentleman just suggested he continue to dry it and see if she felt any better or was going to have to further fix it..... Ok I stayed for about 10 minutes of that. Then googled Great Clips on my phone and proceeded to go there. There was no way I was letting this guy touch my hair. I encourage you to check more reviews. This is not a Salon with staff. They only rent out the chairs to whoever can pay. And when they get a poor review they blame it on the renter, and ask to be reviewed separately. Well who is allowing the poor stylists in? THE SALON. So, sorry but yes the stylist may be garbage, but in the consumer world Salon Cypress, "hired" them. I am super pleased with my cut by the way. Glad I saved $155 and 3 months of tears.

I went to Misty for the second time because I thought I would give her a second chance. The first time I went to her I went in to get a touchup on my roots for highlights I have really dark hair. She ended up missing a bunch of spots and I had to go back to get it fixed she was really nice and went ahead and fixed it for free. But I came back this time to get my touch up my roots again. She ended up literally bleaching the front half of my hair and toning it with a pink ass toner and it looks more pink than blonde. I had to come home and wash it out and there was literally a sink full of pink. By the time I washed it out my hair looked purple. I literally just got my hair done on Saturday and today I noticed that literally the front half of my hair is yellow and I have spots that the bleach didn't get left long enough on the very front of my hair and all of my baby hairs are burned off. She also burned a small piece on my face at the very top of my face or my hairline is. Moral of the story, giving second chances are not always The best choice. I really want to call and complain but I don't wanna go back to the same woman to try to get it fixed again when it should've just been done right the first time. I also ended up getting a haircut and after she cut it blow dried it she literally only styled the very top part of my hair and left the bottom part frizzy and it literally looked so incredibly pink but when I told her about it she said yeah the pink washout but that's OK right. I honestly Have never been more disappointed in my hair and paying $270 to have my hair looking nothing like the inspiration pictures or what I wanted was really freaking disappointing. I literally have a wedding to go to on Sunday and I'm gonna have to go to another salon to get my hair fixed.I will most definitely not be returning and I would not recommend, if I could give no stars , I would!!
