Bluff's Landing Marina & Lodge

Great location, lodging staff can be hard to find at times so make arrangments for late arrival. Rooms are very clean and recently upgraded. Marina is great, very helpful staff, I launch here 2 to 3 times a month. I look forward to seeing the employees, feel more like friends after 6m of use. There are several free launches in Corpus but launch is included with room and worth $20.00 when not using the lodge knowing my truck and trailer are safe. Noteworthy details: Closest launch in Corpus to Baffin Bay and lower Laguna Madre.

Super disappointed. Our room was downgraded, without a refund. We struggled to get into our room bc their key app doesn't work, had to call after hours help. The two women who helped us during our stay were very nice, but not enough to make up for all the problems. Upon checking out, an hour early to avoid late fees, we were charged an extra $31 without explanation. When we drove all the way back to deal with the issue, we were told we stained their linens, which we did not. No real help or explanation was given, bc they didn't note anything on their end of the charge. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who valued their money. Rooms: Room had a strong smell of bleach.

The overall stay was nice. Location was amazing, however there are NO MICROWAVES in the rooms or common areas, so your options are: pack lots of cold food for the fridge or eat out for each meal. Also GUEST SERVICES, was not available for use due to a private party, however the pool was open. The OUTLETS in the room itself were hard to find and dangerous to get to (under low hanging sharp cornered shelves). Lastly, there were NO OUTSIDE TRASH BINS readily available in any of the common areas, you have to go all the way back to your room to throw away any outside trash. We liked our stay and APPRECIATE THE STAFF for working with us for late check in :)
