Would not stay here again. Hotel dated, though not terrible things are showing age. Room smelled like wet dog and the air didn't work. Would say "off" but a/c on. Stayed on 6th floor and room/roof constantly creaked. Felt like living in very old house in attic. It's a trek to the airport. No response through app to service requests etc.

This place is OKAY. Not great, not bad. Definitely things they could do better. The staff was friendly and the overall appearance is nice. The location is excellent - close to several food places and easy access to routes. We were not planning on using the pool, which was a good thing. Apparently everything is bigger in Texas, except this pool. It looked nice, but it is so small, I can't imagine how ridiculous it seems when it is in full swing during the hot months. It's about the size of a large personal home pool you see in Florida. The restaurant sells a very basic breakfast menu, which we passed on in favor of a very close breakfast restaurant. I never saw their lunch or dinner menu, because there were no menus in the room to peruse (which seems like a missed opportunity). The rooms themselves have been updated and were nice and very clean, but really leave something to be desired. They have very poorly chosen furniture. We were in a double room and there was no dresser or small table with chairs, just this long desk counter thing that the fridge was stuck under with one desk chair and one armchair in the corner. The wardrobe has the clothes hanger bar going perpendicular (like they would be in a store on a wall display) so you can't just slide your clothes back and forth to see and get what you need, which just seemed pointless. Again, no dresser, so you only have two desk drawers for a room with potentially 4 people (which is what we had). The light switches are a nightmare. You have to turn on a switch in the foyer to be able to turn on the switch for bathroom light. Why?? And lastly, there is no vent fan in the bathroom, so pack some air freshener. We had to go buy some. I'm sure this review sounds complainy, but really, the place is truly okay. I probably would try a different place if I come back this way, but I wouldn't add this to my no-go list. I will NEVER give my business to the four points by Sheraton ever again. I had many issues with my stay before I even got to the hotel, the airport transfer they provide is unreliable. I called when I was grabbing my bags from the airport and the woman at the front desk told me to call back once I was at the pick up point for my ride. I called back and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I thought they forgot about me so I called back and before I could even say anything she put me on hold again. I called back one more time and she put me immediately on hold for a third time. I waited on hold until she picked up again and gave her my information for the shuttle to pick me up (its now been 25 minutes that Ive been waiting outside the airport watching other people get into shuttles multiple times to go to various other hotels) she then informs me it will take up to 30 minutes for the shuttle to come and get me (the hotel is a 10 minute drive!!!) I wait and feel very uncomfortable as strange men are approaching me and I have multiple bags. I finally get to the hotel and check in, at first the room seems decent, it was clean. However, after staying there the night the pillow was extremely old and lumpy causing me neck pain. The shower pressure was nonexistent, and because there is only half of a shower door the water spills out into the rest of the bathroom each time I showers (which is probably what the smell I experienced is coming from). The food at breakfast was very good for hotel food and the waitresses were quick. The bartender at night was also very nice and personable. However, I am now having issues with my invoice from my stay. I have unknown restaurant charges that I did not make as I left the hotel early due to a hail and tornado storm that was approaching Dallas. You would think this would be a simple fix, however I have called 5 times and spoken with multiple people who cannot give me a straight answer. One woman told me they would need to investigate it and would get back to me. Days went by and I never heard from them. I call again, another woman tells me that she we dispute it and have the new invoice sent over to me. Again, I never heard back. Now I called again today and they told me to speak with their manager, I get transferred over to a recording machine. This beyond frustrating and honestly ridiculous.
