First Community Bank

I was issued a check drawn on First Community Bank by one of their customers. I went to cash the check and the teller tells me there will be a 1% fee ($33.00) to cash the check, a 1% fee from money deposited in their bank by one of their customers. To avoid the fee, I need to have an account at this bank. My wife has an account, her employer has an account, but I don't. Are you kidding me? Many families here in the Rio Grande Valley find it hard to make ends meet and this bank, along with any other bank who charges a 1% fee to cash a check drawn on their own bank should be ashamed. Greedy, unabashed and unapologetic business practices. As I am walking out in disgust, a V.P. or manager tells me all banks charge a fee. To test this theory, I go to my bank (Frost) cash this check and ask if they charge a fee to a customer I issue a check. The teller says, no, they would never charge a fee.

Very poor customer service I understand the lobbies were closed at the moment. But the female employee refused to help I would never bank there

Came to cash a check, on google it shows that they close at 6 i arrived at 4 and the doors were closed.
