Residents in crisis and psychopaths in management. There is something uniquely chilling when half of the residents in the complex come together out of both fear and frustration. Residents are being stalked, assaulted, and harassed, an ongoing situation for several years. Happening in conjunction to the lies, manipulation, and borderline fraud concerning pest control, maintenance, and contracts, and health and safety. The current immediate issue is one that management has fostered and allowed to continue and has escalated to the point where residents are making calls to the local chief of police and filing complaints with various state agencies. While it is understandable that disagreements with on-site management can happen, being told to walk in pairs for your safety is not what carefree 55+ living should be. Residents are terrified to walk the halls without some form of protection, which is not what Album promised. The Beverly the manager and Katie her regional are habitual liars quickly making up stories and reasons for their facilitation of this emergency. Their reasons were quickly proven false by the Texas DAs office. Terror isnt subjective, and cruelty by Greystar abounds. Residents were told, Corporate legal will be providing a statement over two weeks ago. Concerning Lynelle the lifestyle coordinator, she is so unhinged that the local PD had to tell her to stop the excessive and unnecessary calls as she was using PD to terrorize a resident. Beware, Beverly and Katie, the vipers of Album. Want the experience of living in a horror movie, come to Album Benbrook.

Prior to signing the lease at this place, they were very nice and helpful. Not so much after the lease was signed. My father is currently living at the apartments. He has Parkinson's so balance can be a problem for him sometimes.. This is an over 55 community. You would think hand rails would be a standard feature in the showers. Not here. He requested they be put in. He was told he would need to buy them and pay to have them installed. I'm also learning you need to check any bills you receive carefully. If they mischarge for something, make sure you check and double check that it gets corrected.

Horrible experience from beginning to end. I moved out 3 weeks ago and turned in my keys the 29th. My lease was up and they are still bothering me. I even got a notice today that my rent is due tomorrow and they actually owe me money from overpayment for my water bill. The staff treats the residents like children and will not listen if you have the nerve to complain or even suggest something. Run away! There are plenty of other nice senior living apartments out there. Oh yeah, while I was there I got a text from the office that they were going to call the police on me because I left my dog in the car, and my dog was sitting beside me on the couch sound asleep.

This is a well run operation and is as advertised on there web site. This is advertised as an ACTIVE 55+ but there are residents who are Not physically capable of being Active. That said there are also many very active seniors. Make sure you ask about the mandatory add of and miscellaneous charges they amount to additional monthly cost around $300 per month.
