This location has to be the slowest one in Houston although it doesn't appear to be busy.

I have been a PNC customer for over 15 years and today after visiting this location I strongly wanted to close my accounts and take my business elsewhere because of the uncomfortable customer service experience I had at this location. I came into the Bissonnet branch this morning around 10 am I was initially serviced by the teller Anne for I wanted to make a withdraw, she needed approval from her manager but there seemed to be an issue. I gave her two forms of ID per protocol and was also asked my SSN, all of which to verify me. After maybe 8minutes I was told the signatures did not match and when I asked what does she mean I have been signing this way for a very long time, in a demeaning tone Anne said "its your signature, sign it however you signed it in when you opened the account, I dont know your signature", which does not answer the question because at this time I have signed the 3 different ways I normally sign and was told "its not even close" which led me to believe it must not even be in my handwriting or even my name. I was called to Rosa Rivas office the Branch Manager and she asked me a series of questions once again to verify my identity but then said that my signature isn't even close and they would have to escalate and lock my account. I asked her what my options were because I needed the cash and she stated it will be locked and escalated I wouldn't be able to transfer the funds to any account and that this would take up to 2-3days which I don't have, she then suggested a cashiers check and I told her no I need it in cash and this suggestion also did not make sense because I still need a signature for the cashiers check and that is the main reason cash is not an option so why would a check from that same account be an option. She claimed she emailed a Loss Prevention team (she called it another name but its basically to report perhaps someone signed on my account) to escalate the situation and that they may get back to me by noon and that I should check back with her then. I called exactly at noon and was told by Anne that she was with a client. I continued to be patient because I honestly just wanted an update so that before the business day is over if I needed to seek other plans and money sources I would be able to do so while this situation was being managed because I was truly confused and concerned of a security breech. But by 2pm she still did not call back so I called customer service and was told I could have simply asked the branch for a signature update card and provide my forms of identification for there are many ways to identify you in person and it is an easy fix. I went back to this same branch and she was gone to a "meeting" still no update was made. I went to another branch this was handled expeditiously and I received the full sum I needed within 10 minutes. Turns out my account was never locked it was a scare tactic placed, I was discriminated against and this experience made me feel like I was a criminal and I am truly having a hard time deciphering whether it is because I am a young black female or because I had an out of state ID, but lets just say I have withdrawn from locations all across the country with my out of state ID before and maybe the sum does not compare, but regardless the behavior and the lack of logical resolution of a "Branch Manager" was unacceptable. A task that Rosa Rivas turned into a 4 hour worrying nightmare with no solution. P.S. I purposely chose to write this review at 4:50pm exactly to see whether or not she would ever call with an update or an excuse but never did. If you don't want to be treated like a scammer don't go to this branch.
