image The facility is welcoming and bright. You are greeted with smiles and excellent customer service from the start.

image My disabled uncle whom had a trachea and feeding tube was neglected. The nurses didn't check on him. He was improving before he got to the nursing home. with a trachea it needs to be suctioned. He pressed the button for the nurse and we don't know how long he went without being able to breathe . He had a mucus plug which blocked his airway. He's dead now. Please don't put your loved ones at this place it's horrible how they treat people. The staff doesn't care. They don't want to be bothered.

image If I could choose a zero That would have been my choice they had my dad in a room with only a bed and a nightstand no cup to drink from nothing to drink at all I asked for a cup of water and they gave me a tiny little medicine cup with water in it the conditions are terrible old and outdated the nurses dont pay any attention to the residents there I asked for a Director to come to his room no one came not a nurse no one I packed his stuff and got him out of there I would not recommend this place to anyone they need to be shut down! And to top it off they kept his prescription of Xanax that had just been refilled unbelievable

image Earlier this year, I toured 31 skilled nursing facilities in Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, and Vidor, Texas. Only three were clean. My then first choice had a waiting list, and I could not get my wife in. I put her on the list, and took her to my then second choice, Arden Place. It turns out that Arden Place is the facility that can do the most for her. It is now my first choice. The nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other support staff are top notch. They care about doing good work and they treat us with respect and dignity. The director, Amber, who just came on board in January, is exceptional. She has helped the staff feel good about working there and has made necessary changes that were not in place just before we went there. She has addressed all our concerns, stepping in where things needed to be better - even the food. She is an excellent leader and head administrator. The other members of the leadership team are just as impressive. The person who means the most to us however, is Carl, the physical therapist. My wife and I both have had trouble walking at times, due to differing circumstances, so we have seen a number of physical therapists over the past five years. I have not seen the third physical therapist that works with my wife, but Carl and Duana (not sure of spelling) are lovingly aggressive, helping my wife to make progress even when she doesn't feel like it. And, their methods are state of the art. I could not ask for a better team to help us. I'm sure, that if the same people continue to work with her, my wife will not need skilled nursing help for much longer. Arden Place is definitely our first choice for skilled care.
