Exceptional Emergency Center - Beaumont

Theres nothing exceptional about this hospital except the fact that they exceptionally dont care. They put me in a room and left me alone for an hr without checking in on me, without telling me anything. After I told them Im in extreme pain.

Both ears hurt really bad. Everyone was very nice. Dr. Gerhardt is amazing! Very clean facility, caring people. Highly recommended. Debra Johnson

I just came from over at urgent care Off Dowlen And if I tell you, customer service is poor and also they taking advantage of the people with the insurance theyre asking for money when the insurance is paying in full Ive experienced this before at one hospitals I went to here in Beaumont about them trying to charge for a co-pay. I have the top one Insurance and never had to pay for a co-pay and Ive been with this insurance all the 10 years also, its best to go to a city other than the city because Beaumont they will be trying to get over on people that dont know better my insurance even called me and told me dont go Back to the hospital. I went to one time I went to the hospital here on that one.

Not good, directed there by my dentist who told me I would receive an iv, told didnt have, would give me an injection, they didnt have that, gave me two pills instead of sending me to another location who could have given me what I needed! Big waste of 100.00!

They used to be great.. now I can't say that. My son came in with head trauma from being hit in the head with a baseball. We came in because he was dizzy and nauseous. The doctor only ordered an X-ray and didn't order a CT that was needed to check for a concussion. They falsely documented our reason for even coming in stating that he DID NOT have dizziness or nausea. When my wife asked the doctor about it, he said he didn't know why but still did not fix it on their paperwork. He laughed and said a baseball to the head could not cause a concussion. He told my wife to follow up with his pediatrician which she did as soon as she left. He said a CT was NEEDED. We ended up back at a different ER that night to get the CT that should have been done originally if the doctor was actually doing what he was supposed to do. Avoid this place at all cost and save yourself the hassle of needing to go to another ER afterwards because of their medical malpractice.
