This agency is an absolute scam. I've always received a bill from them in spite of having a TxTag for over 10 years. And when I do receive it the bill is always 30 or more days past due to they tack on more fees. They know how to milk the system as there is no accountability for the scam they have created.

RMA Toll is a scam. They do shady things behind their customers backs. I called late last year to set up payment plans, by the end of the call they said I was good to go, I just needed to keep up with my payment plan. I finish paying my payment plan and then all of sudden it turns out there is another account that I owe money towards. The person I talked to in September never mentioned it to me. So now I am a habitual violator again, even though I haven't taken tolls in about a year. When I call, nobody has answers for me, their system for running things is totally unorganized. I don't get how people could work for RMA Toll and feel good about themselves, they are in the business of screwing hard working people, charging a ton of fines, and then saying oh well.

HORRIBLE all the way around... This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. I continue to get billed tolls for a vehicle sold last year. And yes I reported it sold on the DMV website same day it sold. This is absolutely absurd. The latest bill is for nearly $300.00. May 25, 2023 was the date of sale. VIN: 1B7HF16Y01S219485
--Update--
I received an email with confirmation that these charges would be removed and they sent a copy of the DMV record created as proof of sale, from when I reported as sold. So thanks for that... However, 2 weeks later another letter showed up in my postal mail box stating that the dispute had been negated due insufficient evidence, which is quite to the contrary considering CTRMA sent me a copy of the record showing the vehicle was recorded in DMV as sold back in May of 2023. Further, it stated would continue to be held responsible for any charges accrued in addition to pending and future charges.
So bottom line, in the Toll World as managed by CTRMA, after nearly a year since selling a vehicle and reporting that vehicle as sold on the DMV site, I will continue to be the person paying tolls for someone driving around the state of Texas, until they decide to register the vehicle. The account should be close to $500 by now at the rate the tolls were registering.
