Please be advised I am what you would label as LGBTQ. Please think that not every person who appears male to you would label themselves as male. I am not a mama man. I don't identify as a man. I don't identify with the construction worker, mechanic wood worker man type. I find often it's a man that labels a man as a man. Well I identify as non-binary. Like race I don't want to be identified as I appar to you. And I also know under federal law I have a right to be identified by pronouns of my choice I'm a workplace. Further, in a workplace context the Genetic Information Non-discrimination act states an employer who employs over a certain number of people may not access and use genetic information to promote, hire or fire an employee. It's considered a civil rights as well. My point is the heart of the law is dont discriminate based on sex and genetics. Now we can't say it's discrimination until I disclose my status to you on pronouns. My pony is then that not everyone identifies with the male box and label . The person who called me sir was old I'm a home dept apron. But someone you might label a woman didn't do that. But the young man if that person sees themselves that way, seems to have used sir with me in the way out from the checkout. I had what we'd call women's shorts and a head band to hold my hair back at the hair line. Let's get this clear. Trans people and non binary are what they say they are, be it sir or ma'am or they /them like me. And your store has a manly image. Ok. I'm a customer and not a man. And those think this is a joke or not serious invalidate this and mock it or express bigotry. An example is a store elsewhere where I expressed my pronouns They/them and the person at the checkout said yes ma'am. Then began to say well I'm sorry it's just that some people are confused. That ticked me off and I said you're right like you to his face. So learn from this. Because we're at social war over the freedom to be who you are without fear. Some people don't want to accept me. And that why we integrated schools. That mindset. This is not a legal threat. It's a lesson.

I went in to get an extra key made. Theres was an employee who walked by I asked if he could help and immediately looked annoying and didnt answer me just started telling me what type of key I needed which I had in my hand already. He took the key however the key machine stopped working when he put the key in. He told me its not working and I said ok thank you and still no response so I just walked off. Called the next day to see if the key cutting machine was working. The guy that answered the phone transferred me in mid conversation the second guy was polite and asked me to call back in 3-4 minutes so he could go check. I did and was transferred again in mid conversation however the second guy didnt answer so I was directed back to the first guy. He was incredibly rude wouldn't transfer me again then asked again what did I want after me trying to tell him 3 times. He told me hold on then came back in less than a minute and said he wouldnt know til 6 (it was around 3pm that I called). Not sure why he couldnt have walked to it its by the front and just let me know if it was working or not. I said ok and he just hung up. As the other reviewers have mentioned customer service is poor at best. Almost every time I go in here the older gentleman or women are rude and act as if its a problem to ask for help. The younger kids will actually greet you and ask if you need anything at the door. Please fix this its inconsiderate and poor etiquette when going to any store. A simple sorry about that or sure I can help you is not that hard.
