I was nervous to see a new dentist after 20 years with my previous. The staff at Perspective Dental are so inviting and comforting. The care I received was so gentle yet thorough. They explained everything with pictures and X-rays where available so that I was comfortable with the treatment course I needed. Dr. Smitherman is SO skillful. She patiently prepped my teeth for a filling and a crown avoiding the nerve which was precariously close by. I am so grateful! Despite all of the work I required, I didnt have any pain or sensitivity afterwards. Looks like I found my dentist for the next 20 years!

I had such an awesome experience! Kind, patience, courteous! This was my first time going to Perspective Dental and experienced a great experience! Elena,Nicole, Dr. Ashleygosh everyone that I came in contact with from the time I walked thru the door was amazing!

I've had a great experience here. I've been seeing this office for over 2 years, and I've only had good experiences. The entire staff is incredibly personable and attentive, and Dr. Smitherman is very professional, friendly, and authentic. I never feel like she's just a businessperson trying to get more money- I always feel like she prioritizes the patients and she's great about answering questions and following up.
I've used Dr. Smitherman as my dentist, but I also did Invisalign through her office and I'm almost done with my experience. I highly recommend doing Invisalign through her- she's very honest about what to expect and is incredibly good at changing course and strategizing according to personal needs in case the bite or teeth aren't aligning as expected, which happened a couple times because I grind my teeth. We've finally gotten the bite to where I wanted and I'm very satisifed with my experience there.

Great private practice (aka they only suggest procedures you actually need!) Very attentive to anxious patients! They really go the extra mile to make sure youre comfortable, and Dr Smitherman is always great & very calming. My friend who is TERRIFIED of the dentist moved cities, and still comes back for them.

Honestly, as pleasant as going to the dentist could be. Ive had 3 fillings, a few cleanings, and some TMJ consultations here. I was nervous for my first visit because I hadnt been to a dentist in years but it was totally painless and easy. The staff and doctor are friendly, and real pros. Cleanings etc are comfortable and its fun to watch Netflix during services. I pay out of pocket so my first visit was expensive but I signed up for their membership and every service has felt totally reasonable and doable since. The staff is also super nice and understanding and are transparent with pricing and willing to work with me on timelines the work with my budget etc. highly recommend!
