Floss is the reason why people are terrified to go to the dentist. Avoid this place like ebola. I'm not sure how Garcia got licensed, but he destroyed my tooth doing a botched cap + crown job. I got an awful infection and they didn't care one bit. Floss was unresponsive (surprise!) and I have since spent thousands getting it fixed at a real dental office.

I made an appointment here seeing that they had a pretty good deal for first time patients without dental insurance. However, upon arrival they didn’t actually have me on the schedule. After pulling up my confirmation email for the receptionist, they “fit me in” even though it was their fault for not putting me in their schedule. After waiting for 20+ minutes (my entire visit lasted close to 3 hours for a mere cleaning and exam, by the way), My assistant took me back for initial X-rays- a panoramic and about 20 bitewings. After taking the 20 some bitewing X-rays she said she needed (which seemed like a ton) she still had to retake most of them a second time. After waiting a long period after the X-rays, the hygienist came in. She was the only decent part about this experience here. She was pleasant unlike anyone else in the office. But she used a tool that my dentist back home had never used before, and caused me 2+ weeks of pain and discomfort. After the cleaning, the girl who took the X-rays came back in saying they needed to be retaken AGAIN. She brought another assistant in with her to help her. This assistant was coughing literally nonstop all over the equipment, me, the room, and the bitewing going in my mouth...I was so uncomfortable. Between coughs, she managed to retake my X-rays at least 2 more times (for a total of what seemed to be about 60 X-rays at this point). After giving up, the dentist finally came in. She barely looked in my mouth and hardly said anything before leaving the room... mostly about how the X-rays weren’t clear enough. Then in comes the receptionist with a piece of paper saying I have 5 cavities and it’ll be about $900 to repair them, and to sign it. I wasn’t told that I had cavities, nor which teeth, or any information by the dentist. When I tried to ask questions about it, the receptionist was extremely rude and defensive, saying that I could leave for a second opinion but that I would be back because they’re right. All I wanted was information about how the dentist came to this conclusion and which teeth were affected... is that not okay to ask?! Just seemed like a big sales gimmick if you ask me. It’s now a month after visiting and I am just now getting over the severe bronchitis I was put on steroids for... that I got from the assistant here! I honestly can’t even explain how horrible of an experience this dentist is in every aspect. Do not give them business, it’s worth it to pay a little more for quality dental care you could get elsewhere. Seriously, ANYWHERE is better than here.

Floss dental on 38th mysteriously closed its doors in August 2018 with zero notice to its patients. I am being treated for Invisalign services and paid them over $3500 upfront for the service. I called and called for my follow up appointment and finally after 2 weeks got an auto responder directing me to the 5th street location. When called 5th street Floss, i was told Floss 38th was closed and no information about when or if they would be opening again is available and i would be put on a list. I was already 3 weeks behind on my treatment in picking up my new trays. Another week went by and the 5th street location finally got the "server" and invisalign kits from the 38th street location. They provided no explanation to me as to why the 38th street practice closed with not notice, simply that the owner shut it down with no plans to re-open. I am now 6 weeks behind on my treatment with little to no resolution to my problem. They have my trays in had to pickup but the 5th street location does not employ an Invisalign certified dentist at this time to treat me. I would not recommend you place your dental care in the hands of any of the Floss dental locations.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went here from 2014-2017 and had a positive experience until my last visit in the fall on 2017. The new dentist (don't remember her name) told me I had periodontal disease and I would need to come in more often otherwise my teeth would fall out. As someone who suffers from multiple anxiety disorders this scared the heck out of me. I went to Brush Dental up the road not only did they the first dentist tell me I did not have periodontal disease but a second one as well. This office is a joke and want your money. They will also exploit people who are more vulnerable to make a buck. I was never told by any of Floss' former dentists that I had this disease and same goes for the ones from Brush Dental. Take your services to Brush Dental. Good quality staff that care and just up the road

I was concerned about trying a new dentist and based on prior reviews on here I was on the fence about going to Floss. I decided to make my own decision based on my own experience and I am beyond happy that I did not allow previous older reviews to deter me. This was by far one of the top best experiences I have ever had with a dentist office and over the last 25 plus years I have had numerous experiences. From Lena at the front desk to Alex going over every detail of billing to Dr. Rewari treating me as a person not just another patient to see and rush through to next patient to Dylan and Marissa helping to make sure I was comfortable and answering any questions that I had while waiting. They were able to schedule all of us on the same day and we were taken care of from cleanings to fillings to extractions and deep cleanings. During that visit not once did we feel rushed or pressured to go with treatment one way or another. I had been looking into braces and Invisalign for my son for some time and after our visit and seeing the professionalism and the needs of patients being put first I was more than happy to decide to go with an Invisalign treatment with Dr. Rewari. I am confident my youngest will be in good hands from beginning to end during this experience. The whitening process for my oldest was quick and easy with fast results (dramatic no it was just the first one) but still noticeable enough to make her day. I ended up having to have more work done then a typical extraction and Dr. Rewari calls personally to make sure things are going well and follow-up on how I am feeling and to check to see if I have questions. I was shocked at this extra mile of service. This type of treatment is rarely heard of and very much appreciated. You are talked through step by step on what is recommended walked through a break down of the cost and any other billing questions to what is going to be done and how and also as work is being done. I really don't care for going to checkups since my teeth have been through so much work and there seems to always been something that needs to be done just because that has been my luck so I honestly have avoided going if unless I had to because with other offices I always felt pressured to do this or that though I had already made my choices clear. Dr. Rewari and staff listen to my concerns my expectations and goals and make me feel comfortable while still explaining what needs attention and what is recommended. My friend has heard so much about my visits that she just became a patient as well and is so happy with her first visit. Another coworker is soon to follow. I admit I am not the one to usually write reviews good or bad but when you find a business that goes above and beyond you want to share with everyone so that others can have the same experiences. If you want a dentist office that is honest and family friendly from the minute you walk in the door to when you walk out the door this location is the place to go. I have had not billing nightmares which is amazing in it self. We have had the best service and my little family has been treated with the best care which is what everyone wants. If you are reading this then you are like most likely like me and try to diligently read reviews and gather information on new products or services before making a decision. Give them a chance and you will not be disappointed with this Floss location!
