Elite Import Auto is the best. No frills, honest people. Chris helped me navigate an alternator replacement and checked my battery too, which needed replacement. For someone who knows little about cars, cant recommend them enough!

I had my valve cover gaskets replaced here on a 2006 Toyota Highlander in December 2016. Moved further south and started taking it to a different mechanic. In January of 2019 I took it in for a different issue and my mechanic noted that the valve covers were leaking. So in 2 years they were leaking enough to be noticed. I declined service and put off getting them replaced for a few years. I recently decided to save some money and do the job myself. I found a surprise when I got the valve covers off. The rear spark plug tube gaskets were in backwards and had been hammered in at an angle and big globs of gasket maker were placed around the ignition coils to make up for the improper installation. There was also a lot of scoring on the valve covers where they had pried the old spark plug tube gaskets out. The tubes were flooded with oil and oil was baked onto the ignition coils. I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 because the car technically kept running for the last 7 years. I was in college at the time and didn't know much about cars, so I didn't know valve cover gaskets should last longer than 2 years or that I could have gone back for a warranty.
