In my twenty years as a mental health professional, I have rarely come across a therapist as uniquely gifted and dedicated as Jonathan Anderson. When we met way back in high school, Jonathan already knew he wanted to be a therapist. He was already volunteering for a teen help line and was incredibly dedicated to his work. Even as a teenager, Jonathan genuinely cared about the people he was helping, and the same holds true today. Despite his extensive professional experience and wealth of life wisdom, Jonathan doesn't take himself too seriously. He is, hands-down, one of the funniest, most open-hearted people I've ever met. A deeply genuine and non-judgmental person, Jonathan doesn't "talk down" to his clients. He is open-minded and authentically strives to see things from the client's point-of-view. I should also mention that Jonathan is a talented, accomplished guitarist and a skilled astrophotographer. He brings his natural creativity to the therapy process, and carefully customizes his treatment approach for each individual. If you're going through a tough time, or just need a little extra support to live your best life, I cannot recommend him enough.

I've known Jon Anderson personally and professionlly for over 20 years. He has always been a colleague I have relied on as a trusted source for referrals for counseling, and those I refer always sing his praises. Jon is great at what he does, and his expertise and enthusiasm reflect that.

I've known Jonathan since 2000 - he was one of my first colleagues upon moving to Austin. He's a good human being, naturally compassionate and an excellent listener. He is also devoted and dedicated to each of his clients. I feel at ease referring folks to him, knowing that they will be safe and supported in his care.

After a few counseling sessions with Jon, I felt compelled to write this quick review. My wife and I would like to thank Mr. Anderson for assisting us through some challenging moments. Jon quickly opened our eyes to different approaches and strategies to better communication. It's amazing how you can get into a rut, or habit of the same negative communication patterns, but think you are being completely open minded. Jon opened my eyes to this better understanding, without making me feel judged, and for that I highly recommend him.
