I had the opportunity to work with Gage on a project at my property. The staff was professional and completed all work within the promised timeframe. Very pleased.

This company is HORRIBLE to work with. I would give zero stars if I could. The project manger came into my apartment on a Friday (4/23) to go over the work that needed to be done in my home with me. He said they would be back to start the following Monday (4/26) at 9am. He was short, snippy, and seemed extremely annoyed with my questions regarding the repair process and what I had to do to prepare my home for their arrival Monday morning. Also, he told me there was days worth of work to be done that I was previously told was unnecessary. When asked what changed and why this work needed to be completed, he responded with, I dont know. Its just on my list. I then explained to him that I had family coming to town on 5/6, so I needed all of the work to be complete before then. He once again assured me they were starting Monday (4/26) at 9am, and he said they would expedite the process so that my apartment would be ready before my familys arrival. I spend my entire Sunday (4/25) emptying out my apartment and preparing for their arrival. Come Monday (4/26), I waited around all day and the team never showed up. After calling multiple times, we finally got in contact with the team. We did not get a response until 3pm, when they were supposed to be in my apartment at 9am. At 3pm, they told us they were running behind, but would start first thing Tuesday (4/27). Once again, they never showed up on Tuesday. We called again on Tuesday. Again, couldnt get ahold of them until the afternoon and, once again, they told us they wouldnt be able to start until the next day (Wednesday, 4/28), but they said they would 100% have drywall up by the end of the work day Wednesday (4/28). Once again, come Wednesday, they never showed up and my drywall wasnt complete like they promised. When asked why, he said his crew just never showed up. This went on for days. **I would like to emphasize, each of these days, they never once reached out to us to let us know they would not be in to complete the work they promised and we hired them for. They just never showed up, and it took us hours and multiple calls to get any answers.** To this day (Friday, 4/30), they have not been in to complete the work they promised to start on Monday (4/26). In order to get the work done, the manager of my apartment complex ended up having to drive to Lowes herself, buy drywall, carry it up to my apartment, and hire a different contracting company. The other company we hired was amazing. They were punctual, respectful, hard working, and completed all of the work this company (Gage) told me would take THIRTEEN DAYS in ONE day. I would never work with Gage Multifamily Services again. Not only was the project manager rude, but the team as a whole is extremely unprofessional and has no respect for others time or needs, which is unacceptable when working in someones home.
