I sent them a pair of slacks from New Years with a clear liquid stain to be removed. I also sent them a $300 silk dress with a simple hem stitching. The slacks came back as soiled as I had delivered them. They took them back and the second time came back clean. The dress was ruined. Every stitch placed in the hem pulled a thread in the fabric, completely destroying it. I spoke to the owner and she assured me that the 30 articles of clothing that machine and needle stitched before mine had all turned out fine. The entire reason I asked them to hem the dress was because silk takes special care, including fresh, fine needles. When I repeatedly tried to get a resolution, calmly and with respect, she informed me that she had just had surgery and couldnt work. That was in Jan 20. Then COVID. I allowed more time, understanding that although they were an essential business, everyone was struggling. Fast forward 10 months. No resolution. No effort on behalf of the owner. My advice, use any other clearer or alterations company. Service: Alterations
