I have been looking for a good tailor in town for years. H&P Alterations did perfect work on some jeans and a jumper. Recommend!

I've consistently had great alternations and service with Cathy's Cleaners! They also have shorter turnaround times than a lot of area tailors which I appreciate. For example, I was sat on getting a bride maid's dress hemmed until a week before the wedding and they were able to do it in time when no one else could. I also had the zipper on my winter coat break days before I was traveling to Europe in February and they were able to fix it in two days before I left.

They are so sweet here and did my tuxedo measurements for free! Very excellent customer service :)

The speed and pricing are acceptable, but they have now damaged my garments on three separate occasions. They appear to want to starch and press my jeans, despite the fact that I have never requested that to happen (twice starched without asking, twice pressed without asking, and these are $360 James Perse raw denims), and they DID NOT starch a collared dress shirt that I had asked to be starched lightly. They told me they had no staff to fix the mistakes over the weekend when I needed the things fixed by the next day. I was forced to make the one guy (who told me they had no staff to fix the mistakes over the weekend) literally put in "NO STARCH OR PRESS ON JEANS" into my profile. They have offered to redo them, but they haven't refunded me or apologized. Avoid.
