Excellent chiropractor. He really knows what he's talking about and his techniques are so gentle. I'm always in good hands with Dr. Robinson.

My employer had an event which aligned with open enrollment for our insurance. Atlas Holistic Wellness was there, informing employees and offering massages. I began going there several weeks ago, and what I have gained is that they do intervals of massage, chiropractic adjustments and exercise therapy. I was at first hesitant about the chiropractic portion, as I had never been adjusted before. I am most comfortable with Maali Lutti, as she is gentle and does not go further if I am not ready. She also talks me through everything that she does before she does it. I had my first of two neck adjustments last week after a coworker said she had a good experience getting it done by Maali. First, Maali pointed out the knots in my neck and then she told me to wiggle my feet so that I would be distracted then she did the adjustment. It was not nearly as bad as I believed it would be. (Watching Tiktok and Youtube videos of adjustments really had me a bit freaked out. Lol!) There are multiple physical therapists/exercise therapists there, but I have had the most experience with Kailan Age and Jeff Stuesser. They both address the problem areas I pointed out on the iPad when I check in. Initially, it was my back, which has been a problem of mine for years, as I had lower back surgery in 2006. Jeff and Kailan are great about describing what muscles are affected by my pain and what muscles are affected by the knotty and tight areas. I learned that when one muscle is tight, and it is massaged, or worked out, it releases lactic acid so it is important to keep moving, do stretching and drink plenty of water to allow the lactic acid to dissipate. Another plus is that Jeff and Kailan guide me through exercises to work out the knots in my muscles. I have learned how to stretch out on the foam roller, use small balls to work my pec minor and biceps, and do other range of motion exercises. The cool thing is that I can do these at home too! I have bought a foam roller and stretching my back out at home is so cathartic. The only thing is that I have to stay consistent at home for the best outcome. Sometimes I get busy, or forget, or just want to chill after work. Lol. :-) I have to say that I look forward to my visits each time!
