I'm one of the lucky ones whose sunroof shatters for no apparent reason while driving on the highway. Filed a claim thru my insurance, etc, etc and eventually was lead to this company for the repair. While I wouldn't wish this whole ordeal on my worst enemy, I must say, Liz (and the rest of her team) made this process as painless as humanly possible. Quick to answer all my questions, polite, sincere, and great communication as to the protocol and steps to get this repair completed. I was in and out, no fuss, no hassle. Lack of response and are rude. Was quoted way more than the dealership and when you ask why, thinking there was a misunderstanding with the service request, you are told to go go with the dealership and they dont do price match, when all you were asking is a review to make sure they understood what is wrong with the sunroof.

I have a 27+ year old MB SL500, which I have owned for about 13 years now. I had the convertible top replaced around 11 - 12 years ago and it was never quite right. Early wear signs, creases in the plastic windows that shouldnt be there and, what I felt, a poor fit. I was told by my SL buddies to go to nowhere else than Texas Auto Tops of Austin. I delayed until now and Im kicking myself for not going sooner. Why? you ask Well They know what theyre talking about! They know the right top to get. They know how to fix issues like a couple of broken tension cables which were left in the system the last time I replaced the top. They have experienced Technicians and try to assign one and only one of their experts to each job. I also had my two seats recovered. The car looks awesome again and I am so very pleased with the craftsmanship Texas Auto Tops of Austin has. These particular SLs are challenging to work on. Taking apart seats to recover is a lot like peeling a hardboiled egg, then putting the shell back on without losing or breaking pieces. It takes skill. Texas Auto Tops of Austin has the knowledge and skills your car needs. Dont go anywhere else.
