Easton Hills

Lived here 3 years and have loved it! Apartments are spacious, with good natural light and surprisingly quiet. Property management is amazing, especially Thomas. Always very professional, responsive and helpful, as well as being a genuinely nice person who goes out of his way to make residents feel welcome.

I lived here for a year, and it was an insane experience. Lived next to an apartment that had maybe a dozen squatters in it. Took months to get them out of the apartment. Upstairs neighbors were incredibly loud at all times of the day, and were never empathetic to neighbors. There was always something wild going on. It was never peaceful. Only plus side is the location, but even that is not great. Sure, it is close to downtown, but it is right next to the crack Jack in the Box off Oltorf. You can't walk anywhere because it is right off a loud and busy street. The management was nice and maintenance was fast, but it truly was an insane experience. I never felt safe living there, but that is kind of what you expect when living in the Riverside area. Laundry situation was always annoying, and parking was sparce. Never used the pool because it did not look super appetizing anytime I walked by. I had to delete my Citizen app because I was getting so many notifications of crimes happening not even a mile from me, or spotting's of people walking around with machetes and guns. The apartment itself was whatever. Only one window in the primary bedroom, and it was not big at all. I would not recommend living here, especially with what the rent has been raised to. You can find better in a complex that is fairly safe.

Thomas is the best leasing manager ive ever dealt with. Very professional and prompt whenever an issue arises. Easton is the best maintained complex in this area, solid maple cabinetry and nice stainless appliances. Cant beat the price and location, close to everything if youre willing to deal with some riffraff from the other less than ideal neighbors at nearby complexes. Moved here from recommendations from friends that also had similar positive experiences with Thomas and Easton Hills.
