image In short, the counselor assigned to me, Courtney Pride, was less than qualified to be making a judgment call for anyone. Young, ignorant & entitled. My ID was never returned. Two rings one of which held a great deal of sentimental value were stolen among other not-so-important items. Police were called when i respectfully challenged staff that Courtney not only broke HIPPA law by disclosing my personal info to a mutual acquaintance but due to rumors she was being quite prejudice in not providing aid for my situation. I hope this honest review helps to ensure this petty treatment towards women in tough predicaments ends!
Ill be withdrawing my support & encouraging others to do the same until these trained advocates put aside everything theyve been schooled to believe about dv & actually humble themselves to the ones whove lived long enough to give voice to the silenced!
Word to Courtney & the wise,
Try a little compassion next time youre sitting across from a client. That soul may be the very one to determine if too much power has been given to you. When in doubt if they should be exited or accepted perhaps stick to treating them with the same concern you would hope to receive when, god-forbid, crisis befalls you!

image Horrible place. It was never clean. They wouldnt let me take my shoes in my room so they said they would store them & they lost me & my childrens shoes. Then made me leave because my abuser wasnt in Fort Worth but in Dallas. The staff isnt nice you can tell they are there for a check. I lost more being here than anything. Was better off hiding in a box.

image I dropped off donations. It was clean and quiet. The receptionist was nice.
