La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Arlington South

I had read the reviews after our group had the rooms book and I have to admit, I was concerned. Nope. My room was fine, the breakfast was pretty good and no issues with staff. About the only thing I noticed was the smell of weed when I arrived after midnight but it wasn't there for the rest of my four day stay. And I really don't get the "it was dated" complaints. I mean, seriously? Not only was it not that "dated," so what? You are booking this hotel for a place to put your head on a pillow. If the colour of the rug or the type of tap is that offensive, go to a Hilton. I'm sure you can get one for about $300 a night.

As soon as we walked in we were met with the smell of mildew and weed. the halls were very dated and run down. the elevator didnt work. when we walked into the room we saw a roach run across the table. this was very disgusting the dude at the front desk seemed to have heard these complaints many times before because he quickens just said ill refund you. we got there at 1am expecting to relax only to struggle to find another hotel Safety: there was a creepy man outside the hotel in his truck (not on) watching us get off our truck and grab our things so we had to move from where we were parked
